Welcome to E-Mobility 4 U!

Fascinating tasks and challenges for kids.

Goals

The aim of E-Mobility 4 U is to present the world of science and technology to kids through play. E-Mobility 4 U provides different challenges designed for kids and teens aged 3 to 18 years. The RIC, as project leader, provides teachers and parents with an inside look at the fascinating world of BRP and its industry. An important aspect of this project is to increase awareness of the efficient use of sustainable, renewable and alternative energies.

For example: E-Mobility 4 U offers two workshops that focus on the modes of transportation of tomorrow using different energy sources. To gain practical experience in science, the kids are building, under expert supervision, a vehicle propelled by only two cordless screwdrivers.

The project also informs parents and teachers about efficient mobility (eco-mobility) and future job opportunities within this industry.

The 27 students of the grade school will build their own electric karts at the RIC apprentice shop.

The older kids (13 to 18 years) will develop and build a one-person vehicle propelled by two cordless screwdrivers. Finally, two representatives from each school (Multi-Team) will participate in the Akkurace (www.akkurace.at).

You will find more information on the project in the following pages. The E-Mobility 4 U project has nine phases. The E-Mobility 4 U project was closed on November 30, 2011.

The last big event was the price giving ceremony of our Federal Ministry on November 17th, 2011. We were nominated and finally won the price for "Youth E-Mobil" - it was a pleasure for us and a great event.
